Setting and Rising

As you all know, I tend to take a lot of pictures on my phone. Mostly the pics in the camera reel are of my nephew and my kitty, but there are also plenty of flowers, leaves, trees and the sky. I'm always fascinated with these things. I think I'll eventually do a "nature in the urban setting" series of real photos on a real camera. In the mean time, I'll make do with my iPhone, which is not too bad anyway. Behold:This pic was snapped out my window on the way up to IF a few weeks back. I am always stunned by the way the light hits the clouds during a sunset.

Well, now that it's summer I also have the privilege (please read the sarcasm in that term) to witness the sun rising. I've already posted the first pic I took when the sun was rising before I got to work. My arrival at work was greeted by this the other morning:So pretty, despite it being before 6 a.m. I'll tell you what: I am so glad that it is summer around here finally, and I'm already dreading the return of the fall.
