Well, lucky for me, my bf's roommates happen to have a great dane, Lela, that gave birth to 7 puppies on Mother's Day this year. We've seen them once or twice a week since then, and they just get cuter! Last night was the first time we'd seen them get up and move around on their own, stumbling and tripping like puppies do! I could not resist to snap photos on the trustee ol' iPhone. Behold the cuteness:
This little one is the pick of the litter and one of the two boys. He's pretty alert these days, and his coloring is so gorgeous. He'll go home with his dad's owner in a couple of weeks.
Pile of puppies!! They are still in that whole "sleep a lot" phase, but they're slowly and surely coming out of it. I can't wait to see what they look like next week!I showed these pics to one of my friends at work, and he immediately wanted to know which one of these cuties is mine (he knows of my obsession with big dogs already). Sadly, none of these little ones will be mine this go around. I love them, of course, but the next $500 purchase I make will be a computer, seeing as I don't have a functioning one at home any more. Also, living in a condo is not ideal for a dog that has the potential to weigh over 100 lbs, no matter how I try to spin it. So no puppy for me, but I do get to hang out with these guys a bit longer before they all get sold off, so I'll content myself with that for now.
