Baby Boy, in the Flesh.

So, I used to take a lot of pictures of my kitty cat on my phone. Nowadays and much to her chagrin, Candy's camera time has been dedicated to pictures of this little guy.Isn't he adorable? This pic comes from the photoshoot Bestie did last week. The rest are from my phone:

My last maternity picture, right before we headed into the hospital on Thursday night. Don't I just look about to pop? That's 6 days overdue, by the way. We did everything we could in the week leading up to Colt's birth to initiate labor short of taking castor oil, but all to no avail. Walking around Ikea for hours, taking a midnight stroll through the neighborhood, the breast pump, other nipple situation methods and sexy times, but nothing we did would get this baby moving on out. The pitocin eventually persuaded him, though, and here he is in his printed debut with daddy:

That's one happy, and clean-shaven, daddy! The clean-shaven thing was done for Grandmommy's sake. She doesn't approve of C's facial hair, so he shaved it all off so that she wouldn't have to photoshop him out of all the pictures ;)

Here's a better shot of his face, wrapped up all nice and warm in the blanket that Mommy so lovingly made for him:

And another with daddy. Holding on tight!

Haha I love this next picture, in his going-home outfit, with the scrunchy face!

That face says: me no likey!

Look how little he is in that big car seat! Momma appreciates the fact that he was born at less than 8 lbs purely for the going up the stairs with a loaded car seat factor. Here he is, finally at home with his Grandmommy:

And with cousin Chris:

And in the magic chair (seriously, the vibrating bouncy chair is the best thing ever invented. He loves it!):

When he was first born, we couldn't figure out what color his eyes were. I know, they're going to change, but in the hospital they looked like a weird brownish/grayish/sometimes green and sometimes blue. Two weeks later and they've settled on a blueish gray, with a halo of lighter gray around the pupils. The picture doesn't exactly capture it:

He's such a good baby! And so cuddly. I just can't get enough of him. And guess what! His hair is curly!! Did I mention that already? I'm just really, REALLY stoked on that fact. I swear, it would be my luck to end up with straight haired kids. Looks like that's not happening :)

And we still managed to get it into somewhat of a Mohawk. We're working on it...

This is him with Gramma B. He's being so good :)

And the moody, black and white photo of course:

That's right after a feeding, so he's actually content.

And on his belly. He's actually got pretty strong neck muscles already. He nearly rolled himself all the way over this morning. Which is scary, considering he's only 14 days old. It was mostly an accident, though, so hopefully he takes his time figuring out how to do it on purpose.

So that's it for now. There will be plenty more to come :)
