I am extremely on top of the game this year, seeing as I'm making my Thanksgiving post on Thanksgiving. I can't take all the credit though...most of it should go to Fidelity and the fact that I have been at work since 7 this morning. Why? Because that's the nature of the job. I'm not complaining, though (okay, I'm complaining a little bit), because they're paying me triple what I make on a normal day, and I only have to be here till 11. I may even get to leave sooner than that, if the volumes stay at zero.
So anyway, Thanksgiving.
This year has been an interesting one. This year I managed to do a lot of the things that I set out to do, and I had a blast. I would not have been able to do so much or enjoy myself nearly as much had it not been for my hubby. So, above all things this year, I am grateful for my Vino. At the risk of sounding corny or sappy, he is my rock. He really keeps me grounded (whether I want him to or not sometimes), and my life would be boring and empty without him. 'Nuff said.
I am also grateful for my job. I may complain about it (it is a job after all, it's not a vacation), but I enjoy it for the most part. Good pay, relatively easy work, and awesome coworkers makes it easier to drag my ass out of bed at 5:30 every morning. I certainly don't want to be here for the rest of my working life, but for the time being it really is the best job I could have.
My family. We gained a new addition to my immediate family this year. My nephew Chris, who only gets cuter and cuter every day, is a little (and I mean that figuratively) bundle of pure joy. I love him to death. And his mom. And his dad. And his other aunt and uncles. And his grandparents. I love them all.
Friends. You know me. I wouldn't be who I am without my awesome friends. I've said it before, and I'll more than likely say it again, but I have the coolest friends ever. Life would be pretty dull without them, so I'm grateful for the fun we have together.
