Long Weekend + No Home Work =

Yes, I do indeed have too much time on my hands. I've recently discovered (if you couldn't tell) that one can download brushes and patterns for Photoshop. I may have gone a bit far...it's been eye opening though. It turns out that I have a lot to learn about Photoshop.

I usually do scrapbook pages in a 12X12 format, like I would if I were doing it for reals. I switched to the 12X24 format after seeing pages on Gaucho Girl's Web site. Hers reminded me of magazine layouts. I liked the longer format though. Gives you a bit more room to work with. I really do have too much time on my hands...

Time is a Luxury...

...that I will shortly no longer have.

So, perhaps you've been wondering to yourself, "Just what has Jessa been doing with all of the spare time between the end of Fall Semester and the beginning of Spring Semester?" Perhaps not. All the same, I'll tell you anyway! Yup. I've been scrapbooking. I've been doing so much of it that I'm starting to get frustrated by the limitations of my laptop (the 15" screen is not nearly big enough for this kind of thing). But I've been plowing through. Now, the trick will just be to actually print them out and put them into a book...lol! Like that'll happen any time soon. In the mean time, I'll just post them here =DChris looks so much different! It's like he's two different kids, but I swear that this is him too! It's crazy what a year does to a baby.

So anyway. School did start today, and I should technically be diving into the homework that I already have. I might be less active as far as the blogging goes, but work has been relatively slow so maybe not (I need to entertain myself somehow!). We'll see!

P.s. All of the elements I use come from Free Digital Scrapbooking, ShabbyPrincess and RakScraps, and they're all free!

Stuff

I'm not sure what brought it on, but I've been in a scrapbooking mood recently. If I had the space (and the time) to scrapbook for reals, I would. But seeing as I have neither, I've been doing it digitally. Thanks to Shabby Princess and Free Digital Scrapbooking I have found a lot of cute stuff to work with.

Love the brothers, and Bear Lake. I'm never unsurprised by the color of the water there. It's amazing.

Love these guys =D

Sisters: More Digital Scrapbooking

"We are three peas in a pod really. There is never a dull moment with the Belnap sisters. Whether we are tormenting our brothers, or tormenting each other, we always manage to have a good time!"

I may have too much fun doing this. =D

By the way. Thanks to ShabbyPrincess.com for all the elements!

My First Attempt

So, I've recently realized that I can scrapbook digitally, which is awesome, because I love to do it with paper and what not, but its an expensive hobby. Turns out I can get free digital supplies online. Fabulous. So this page took me like 3 hours to put together (I know it doesn't look like it, but I had to figure out how everything works and what not...).

So yeah. More to come, probably. =D
