For me anyway. I know that I posted yesterday, but I have to tell this story. I feel it is a public service that I need to perform.
So, Vinnie and I went to lunch after my doctor's appointment today. We decided on an Indian place called Tandoor on 33rd and about 7th. We both really like Indian food (surprisingly, seeing as my husband is a very picky eater), and the food turned out to be decent even though the place was a bit low budget--buffet style, scarecely decorated but clean. So we had a good time eating and chatting about the people at his work. We finish, and sit for a minute contemplating if we should go back for seconds.
Then, I see movement out of the corner of my eye. I turn my head and there is a grey mouse under the table next to ours. I hate bugs and mice and all kinds of creepy crawly things, that's no secret, so I nearly freaked out just at the sight of it. Vinnie thought it was gross, but then he found it hilarious ("It's the restaurant's mascot!").
We left pretty quickly, to say the least. So, if you're looking for good Indian food around 33rd and 7th, stay away from Tandoor. Unless, of course, you don't mind mice as much as I do.

Holy Pajamas a MOUSE!? Did you get your meal for free? I hope you said something! Mice don't freak me out, but I can't say I'd feel comfortable with that!
