Updates Briefly...

So, I promised that I would post pictures of Bear Lake, but I can't seem to locate the camera cord at the moment.... In any case, I figured I'd update the blog briefly.

The last week I have done pretty much nothing except work, seen the chiropractor and read/listened to the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. It was awesome. The story was absolutely fantastic, if not a slight bit overly-sappy in some parts, but overall awesome. My little sis (a.k.a. Shnookie or Shnookie Shnook =D) informed me shortly after I started the first book that she's read them 4 times. I will probably read and/or listen to the audio books many, many more times--let's be honest. Listening to audio books makes work go by soooooooo much faster! It's like magic.

Seeing the chiropractor is a pain in the butt. I've seen him four times in one week, and I've got at least 20 (according to him) more visits to look forward to. We discovered on my first visit that I have four pinched nerves (technical term: sublaxation), which have been giving me headaches, and, more recently, hip issues. So, all in all, it's a pain to have to see him every other day (in the early mornings...) but the issues are going away, so it's worth it.

Work has been fairly boring. We're extremely slow, so I spend a lot of my time surfing the Web, which gets boring after a very short amount of time (I've taken to playing solitaire and Mahjong on my phone...). As strange as this sounds, I hope it speeds up soon because I am bored, which makes the day go by slower at work, which is bad.

School is okay. I'm taking two online courses: Elementary Astronomy and Economic History of the US. I'm really hoping that Astronomy gets more interesting; so far we've learned the same things that I've been taught about the universe already. And in case anyone forgot, we went over the scientific method. Econ History is about the same. Brief overview of Feudalism, the conquistadors and the New world, into the early years of Colonialism in the first unit, and of course, since this Economic History, we've also reviewed the laws of supply and demand and the "invisible hand" theory.

So that's really about it for me. I'm looking forward to Oktober Fest in the coming weeks! Not something to be missed: it is a tradition. I'm really not stoked about the abrupt change in the weather. One day it was 85, the next it was raining, and then it hasn't gotten above like 65 since. Well, I'm sure it has, but it certainly doesn't feel like it. There's that chill in the air--the winter-is-coming chill. Not stoked about that at all.
