For your Friday mid-morning enjoyment. Just some things that have been on my mind recently...
~Are you going to beg the Government for a multi-billion dollar loan to save your failing company? Maybe don't show up to Washington in a private jet...
~The Bureau of Economic Research is apparently living in a cave.
~You sold everything in your IRA account after the market crash thinking that you would be able to claim the loss as a deduction on your taxes? That sucks for you.
~The free coffee at work is only made drinkable when mixed with hot cocoa mix and lots of hazelnut or caramel creamer.
~Non-dairy creamer has nothing on the real stuff.
~So far I've been able to take most of my GE credits online. There are at least one English elective and one math requirement that aren't available online, though. That's fine, except that SLCC apparently believes that there is no need to offer GE courses in the evening because the people taking GE courses are the ones who are in college for real and don't have jobs that they have to be at during the day.
~I'm not in college for reals, and SLCC is lame.
~Why do the people with the most money ask me the stupidest questions?
~Pizza, pasta and chicken enchiladas are always better cold the morning after.
~Why haven't I listened to Fiona Apple's other CDs before? They are just as fantastically awesome as Extraordinary Machine.
~After having an 80G iPod for two years, only having 8G of music at a time feels like a tremendous detriment.
~Audio books are a compulsive-multitasker's best friends.
~School needs to end soon (like now) so that I can start reading all the books that I want to read instead of the ones I have to read.
~If I would just focus and study, I could be done with this semester already.
~I would have more success with focusing and studying if I wasn't such a compulsive multitasker.
~It's going to storm soon. The old break in my leg warns me of these things.
~I haven't been feeling particularly merry yet this Christmas season. Probably because I haven't put up my tree yet.
~The tree won't go up until after finals. And when I build up enough energy and holiday cheer to dig the tree out of storage.
~I need addresses for Christmas cards. Those will be next weekend's main project.
