Annoyed.

Look. I am all for alternate teaching methods. I really am. But honestly, there are certain things that teachers should do. In particular: making a syllabus. You can't expect the students in an introductory level class to be able to make a syllabus for a class and a topic about which they have no freaking clue! Especially when you go on and on and on about how much you don't like the text book that we have to use, and that you've never taught this course before. There are probably a lot of other professors that have taught the course that could lend you a syllabus, so get one from one of them. Serioulsy, do your job. Don't waste a whole week of my time trying to figure out what we're going to do for the rest of the semester. These decisions should be made BEFORE the semester starts. I didn't pay $350 for this course so that I could do your job for you.
