Seriously. He is a genius. This is by far the funniest movie I have seen in a really long time. If you haven't seen it, you should. It is fabulous. Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogen (a combination about which, I'll admit, I had been skeptical) were both fantastic; perfect for their roles. And Jason Mewes was absolutely fantastic. Justin Long's cameo made me laugh so hard that I was crying. It was awesome. They really did a stellar job of casting the rest of the characters, and the whole group played off each other very well. It was, of course, raunchy as hell. But the raunch is the funniest part, and it is balanced out by the really sweet side of the story.
So yeah. Kevin Smith is a genius. I'm going to watch it again. Right now.
