I have internet in my house! Hooray!!! Now if I could get the wireless router to work properly we'd be golden. I'm really just glad that there is signal at all.

So, being without internet for a while has not been the big ordeal I thought it would be. I do have to catch up with some things in the cyber world, though. Mostly, uploading pictures so that they can be printed off (Costco online is awesome) and watching all the movies stored in my Play Now list on Netflix. I really wish I could post pictures of the concert last night, but my camera cord--the brand new one--has gone missing. I don't want to talk about it. So, I'll just have to be content with the stuff I already moved onto the computer.

Fourth o' July in IF:

Idaho Falls may be a bit of a podunk town, but we sure know how to put on a fireworks display. Frank Vandersloot, owner of Melaleuca, drops over $1 Million every year on the explosives, and then shoots them all off over the river. Largest Fireworks display this side of the Mississippi, thank you very much. So, as tradition dictates, we headed to the riverbank to enjoy the pyrotechnics. The Shnookie Shnook.

My cousin Lizzie, who got to stay with us enroute EFY at BYU-I. She lives in Abu Dhabi, no joke. Until a couple years ago she lived in Dubai. Before that she lived in Hawaii. This girl has lived in more countries in her 16 years than I probably will see in my life. Basically she rocks.

I managed to get some decent shots of the fireworks. Don't mind the tree to the left (Shnookie was promptly fired from her job as vantage point selector).

This last one is probably my favorite pic. All in all, the display was spectacular this year, and the weekend spent up there was awesome.
