Seating is No Longer a Problem.

So, I don't know why I haven't posted pictures of my condo yet. Probably because there hasn't really been more than walls to take pictures of. Until now. Behold: This weekends major purchase. It's leather, in case you were thinking "who in their right mind buys a white couch?" I'll admit that I was skeptical when we first set it up, but after staring at it for about 15 minutes last night and envisioning the possibilities for my living room, the skepticism was gone, and I LOVE it. Love it.

So, all of the biggest pieces are in place. Table, couch, one bookshelf. The next item on the list is a chair, and not just any chair. This chair. A color scheme may also be coming together in my head. I haven't decided if I will paint, yet. Everything is pretty neutral in the living room (though the bedrooms are another story). The only wall that may possibly need painting is the one by the fireplace, and that one is probably going to get a mural anyway, so I'm not terribly concerned.

Remaining on the "Need to Buy: Furniture" list--

1. Chair (see above)
2. Ottoman/coffee table. Round
3. TV stand (has to be less than 44" wide)
4. Headboard
5. Bookshelf for the bedroom
6. Desk for the office/second bedroom
7. Microwave stand
8. Dresser

The Need to Buy: Accessories list is way too long to type out, and it only gets longer each day. I have big plans. Oh, and I love Ikea. Did you notice?
